Get DIY with it and bring your own materials to make your own handmade flyer or use materials provided by Factory Obscura. Oklahoma-based graphic designers Josselyn De La Cruz, Marium Rana, and Sofia Arenas will walk you through tutorials on how to get started! Who needs AI when you have your own AI.... Meet the Designers
Josselyn De La Cruz is a Guatemalan- Oklahoma Native, Designer and Illustrator. Her work is inspired by color. geometry. and culture and rooted in playfulness and nostalgia, calling on viewers to immerse themselves into her designs. She is a Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator and holds a board position for the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Advertising Federation. As well as a co-organizer of this years Festival's Chapin art showcase "Aqui Estamos" & creator of Junk Club OKC.
Sofia Arenas (she/they/ella) is an Oklahoma City-based artist, designer, and illustrator who loves turning ideas into something you can see, hold, and share. Proudly Guatemalan and Peruvian, her work is rooted in color, storytelling, culture, and community. Through her freelance practice, workshops, and mentorship, Sofia loves making creativity feel approachable and accessible. When she’s not designing, you can find her experimenting with a new medium, collecting visual inspiration, or planning her next event.
Marium Rana is an American-born Pakistan artist. She works primarily in intricate ink drawings and watercolor and gouache painting. She was born in New York and raised in both Long Island, New York and Northwest Florida. Marium received a BFA in Studio Art and a masters in Art Education from Florida State University. She studied Mughal miniature painting in Lahore, Pakistan from Naheed Fakhar at the top fine arts school in the country, The National College of Arts thanks to an undergraduate research grant from Florida State University. Marium has shown her work in the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Yale University, Joshua Tree Art Gallery, and many more!
