Are you a local artist with a bold idea? Do you dream of pushing the boundaries of performance and creating something truly unforgettable? Now’s your chance.
Factory Obscura is officially seeking submissions for our 2026 Future of Sound Sessions, a one-of-a-kind showcase that brings together musicians and artists from all disciplines to create immersive, collaborative live shows that are unlike any other.
We’ve seen everything from aerial silk dancers choreographing with live bands to stop motion artists teaming up with singer/songwriters. Now, we're building our calendar for 2026 and we want to hear your big idea.
Upcoming 2026 Dates:
January 31
March 28 - Future of Sound Fest (Already Booked)
May 30
July 11
September 26
November 28
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking proposals from local bands, musicians, visual artists, dancers, sculptors, designers, and creatives from all backgrounds. If you have a concept for a live collaboration that’s out of the box, genre bending, or completely unclassifiable, we want to see it. What's your dream performance? How can a Future of Sound show differ from any show you've played anywhere else? Who do you want to collaborate with? If you have a big dream for your show but don't know who to collaborate with, we can help match you up, so don't be shy, dream big.
This is more than just a performance. It's a chance to:
Collaborate across mediums
