Call for Artists: Pride Artist Market 2026
Factory Obscura seeks artists and makers who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ to participate in our Pride Artist Market on Saturday, June 6TH. Deadline to apply is THURSDAY, April 30th.
Factory Obscura seeks artist submissions for our 2026 PRIDE Artist Market, Saturday, June 6th, 7-10PM. This call for artists centers people who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. This Market is for OKLAHOMA Artists only.
The Artist Market will be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the Market may be cancelled/postponed and attempts may be made to reschedule to June 13, 20206 (this will be subject to confirmation if the event is cancelled). Artists are expected to stay for the duration of the event.
All participating artists are responsible for processing their own sales and for collecting/reporting sales tax. Factory Obscura does not receive any commission on sales.
If you are accepted into the market there is a $50 vending fee.
$25 of this vending fee is non-refundable under any circumstances and will be used for marketing purposes. $25 of this vending fee is conditionally refundable under the following conditions:
1. You show up and vend at the event at your scheduled time and prepared to vend.
2. You cancel your participation more than 72 hours before the event.
3. If the Market is canceled by Factory Obscura.
4. If the Market is postponed/rescheduled by Factory Obscura and you are unable to participate in the new date.
The conditionally refundable $25 will be considered non-refundable under the following conditions:
1. You do not show up to vend.
2. You cancel your participation less than 72 hours before the event.
3. You sign up to bring a tent and fail to do so.
All items sold at the Market must be designed by you, the artist, and when applicable created by you, the artist. No items based on trademarked characters, shows, books, comics, etc...Original work only.
Only ONE vending artist per form. If you want to partner with another artist to share a table, that artist must apply separately. If only one of you is accepted, the other artist does not have permission to vend at the market. *Please mention in your application if you want to share a booth with another artist, please list their name*
Tables and chairs may be provided upon request. (Which are limited)
Participating artists are encouraged to utilize tents, to get creative with displays, and to provide a fun experience for guests. Don't forget to bring signage and other promotional materials to let shoppers know who you are and how to follow your work! Artists will have a 10x10 space to utilize for display.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are accepted into the Artist Market you will be expected to participate in marketing the event(s) on social media and in the community.
Deadline to apply is THURSDAY, APRIL 30th
Artists will be notified no later than THURSDAY, MAY 7th.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance, as space is limited. Accepted Artists will be sent an acceptance email, along with a Market Artist Agreement.
NOTE: Any type of artwork or media MADE BY YOU OR A COLLABORATING ARTIST is allowable, including but not limited to: painting, prints, sculpture, zines, comics, jewelry, fiber works, clothing (designed by and created by artists) and altered vintage, furniture, housewares, etc..and we encourage you to use the space creatively!
Artwork displayed must follow general content guidelines: no political or religious content, no use of hate speech or derogatory language/imagery, no depictions of drugs/drug use, no drug paraphernalia, and no depictions of violence or graphic sexual content.
Factory Obscura reserves the right to remove artworks from display that do not meet the above content guidelines, or are not in line with the representative artworks submitted below.
*No burning incense, no smoking or vaping at your booth or on the premises.
*No drinking alcohol at your booth or on the premises.
*Someone must be running your table at all times; do not leave your booth unattended.
*Electricity is not provided
*Generators are not allowed
